P90x2 Day 26 X2 yoga

Day 26 of P90x2 – X2 Yoga

This time i did yoga with no music and with people talking to me or asking me questions the entire time. It made the experience a fairly different one. Not bad just different. i found it harder to hold the poses that i could do easily with a calm mind. Guess the Jedi and monks have the right idea. You have to calm your internal dialogue and tune out the world around to really connect your body and mind. I did manage to hold my crane for a full 8 seconds! I also noticed my downward dog is getting better.  X2 Yoga is goes by so quick now i am just getting into the zone when its time for ohms.

Couple of Points –

  • IF you are focusing on form not just going through the motions you will get more from the entire workout
  • Don’t use preworkouts, or eat before yoga.  BCAA’s or water is all i would recommend
  • A good idea for everyone especially older people start using a Joint Support  (the beachbody one is one of only two i recommend other supports killing of sharks tho 🙁 )
